Training and Postural Rehabilitation

At Kinetic Equine, we focus on the horse’s internal organization and state of well-being. Our goal is to create balanced, relaxed, and positively energized athletes capable of succeeding in any discipline asked of them. By blending the structural precision of the German Calvary system, the lightness of the French and Spanish Classical traditions, and the intuitive feel of American horsemanship, we offer a inclusive approach to retraining posture. This, of course, being combined with the necessary knowledge of tack/ equipment fitting and muscle therapies, sets your horse up in a program they cannot fail in. Maintaining a strict "no-gadget" philosophy, every training regimen is custom-built based on the horse’s unique conformation, mental temperament, physical limitations and compensations. We believe that a "calmer more motivated mind" is the direct result of a comfortable body.
We take pride in developing safe, trusting, and sound partners, refusing to push any horse beyond their physiological limits for the sake of a timeline. Whether starting a young horse or rehabilitating an athlete with compensatory patterns, we ensure they will have the structural foundation to remain sound for a lifetime.
We offer multiple levels of Horse and rider training on site at Violet Hill Farm and Happy Day Horse Farm, both located in Gold Hill, NC 28071. We would love for you to join us!

On-Site Training:​
Standard Session (Kim): $120 per session​
(Ari): $60 per session
​Horse use fee (use of lesson horse- $15)
Trailer-Ins to Happy Day Horse Farm will pay the farm $15
Monthly Training Packages:
​Training packages include Board (learn about Violet Hill Farm) and are billed at the beginning of each month

Full Training & Performance Program – $2,700/month
* 3-4 professional rides per week,
* 1 weekly lesson
* routine bodywork and soundness management,
* saddle/tack fitting oversight and adjustments
* required supplements.
Horses in this program are managed as part of a comprehensive training and development system. This system is also designed for any postural rehabilitation case.
Owner Training & Management Program – $2,200/month
* 1 weekly lesson
* 1 professional ride per week

* required supplements
* Full program guidance
This is designed for owners who ride regularly but want consistent professional management and support. Owners must ride a minimum of 2 additional days/ week other than weekly lesson.
**Owners may still be charged extra fees for: -hauling,
-handling/ holding,
-deworming and
-showing/ coaching.
Owners will still pay vet and farrier as usual. (Owners will pay farrier directly or send payment to me in advance of appointment)
Support Program (Available to select outside clients up to 1 hour travel distance)
Horses in this program must come first for an evaluation with Kim. Many are required to come into training for a time frame before home support is given–
this allows us to best optimize you and your horse's training and experience, while taking an extra step insuring our trainers are kept safe, and also as knowledgeable about each horse as possible.

* one weekly lesson (usually with Ari. Kim as needed)
* Needed bodywork
* Nutrition oversight by Kim
* saddle/tack adjustments as needed to support horse and rider development.

Off-Site Horse Training:
​
Kim- Not available to travel for regular training. Available weekly for trailer-ins to one of the Gold Hill, NC facilities. Always accepting horses for on-site training.
Ari- $60 +travel Limited availability (only available to established clients of Kinetic Equine)

Travel Rates Apply any time a practitioner of Kinetic Equine has to work off-site of Violet Hill Farm or Happy Day Horse Farm.

Policies:
-To reserve a Monthly training spot, owner must schedule and pay for a training evaluation with Kim.
- If accepted, a deposit of $600 is required to reserve a monthly training spot.
-All Training Horses are required to commit to 60 days minimum

Cancellations: We require 24 hours' notice for all individual sessions and 15 days notice to cancel a training board spot to avoid a cancellation fee and receive reimbursement for your deposit.
Travel:
$.50/mile charge, round trip, from zip code 28071, will be implemented on all appointments outside of zip code 28071.
Travel charges may include mileage/gas, time, and hotel fees when needed. Trips lasting over 3 hours, one way, will charge an additional fee of $10/hour (after the first 3 hours)
Travel charges are split equally between all clients in an area. Please contact in advance for an estimated travel charge on your appointment day. (Travel charges can vary depending on date)
